Sperm is manufactured in the testicles. Mature sperm is located in the seminal fluid where it is protected and nourished until it is ejaculated during sex. After ejaculation, sperm seem to die off quickly and only the strongest swimmers tend to survive to fertilise the egg.

Research has shown that without semen, sperm cannot be transported to the penis during ejaculation, and there will be no chance of reproduction taking place.
