Immediately after surgery, there may be:
- A small amount of bleeding inside the scrotum.
- Some bruising and mild pain in the scrotum.
- Blood in the semen.
- An infection in the surgery site if your hygiene is not up to scratch.
None of these effects is serious and should disappear within a day or two. An infection may need a course of antibiotics.
